As the Diamond League heads back to London for another sold out Athletics meet, let’s enjoy one of the great races at last years Olympic Gmaes in Paris where Team GB’s Josh Kerr, the current World Champion, set a new National Record but narrowly missed out on Gold to USA’s Cole Hocker.

In what had been billed as a showdown between 2 great rivals in Josh Kerr and Jakob Ingebrigtsen of Norway, it ended up with a bit of an upset as Cole Hocker broke the Olympic Record with a perfectly timed finish.

In this video you get to watch the entire race as seen from the stands as well as Josh Kerr celebrating winking his first Olympic medal plus Cole Hocker making his way round the track, with the Stars & Stripes flag held proudly!!
