Jakob Ingebrigtsen ran 3:30.52 to finish fourth in the 1500m at the Diamond League final in Brussels - a race won by Cam Myers of Australia (3:30.14) - after the Norwegian had led for much of the race.
"Time-wise it was a season's best and I'm feeling a bit smoother and more reponsive than I was in Zurich.
"I'm disappointed with the race and the results, racing against a bunch of cowards but that's the way it is. Everyone is racing to win but there is a little bit of honour in terms of how you win. So it was only Cameron who ran a good race. Everyone else looks like a loser, myself included."
Ingebrigtsen also reveals that Cole Hocker had the pacemaker changed "to one of his own" and is then dragged away by his wife at the end of the interview in order to warm down.
