Jakob/My Training Log: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1ZFpmQV_9cKN2ElL_EnGgviq5zIGgvK-R7s8fyMDybDg/edit?usp=sharing

I copied 16 workouts from Jakob Ingebrigtsen to see what would happen to my fitness, and then I put it to the test with a 3mi time trial.

This wasn’t a peak race or a taper. It was a rust-buster. A mid-block check-in to see where things actually stand after stacking consistent training… including my first-ever week of double threshold.

The goal wasn’t to PR—it was to answer a simple question:
???? Is this style of training actually moving the needle?

In this video:
How the 16 workouts were structured
What my first week of double threshold training looked like
Why I barfed so much... woah

This is part of the Copying Jakob series, testing elite training plans in the real world, without pretending I’m an Olympian.

If you’re curious about threshold training, doubling, or how to test fitness without overcooking yourself, this one’s for you.
