The Norvegian Jakob Ingebrigtsen smashes the 28 years old 3'000 m World Record of Daniel Komen the 25th of August 2024 at the Silesia Diamond League with a big margin. The former World record belonged to Daniel Komen with a time of 7:20,67min. Jakob Ingebrigtsen ran 7:17,55min to break the World Record by 3,12s.
