JAKOB INGEBRIGTSEN vs JIMMY GRESSIER! ???? Two elite runners, two completely different weapons, and one World Championship title on the line in Copenhagen.

Jimmy Gressier arrives with an incredible 12:51 road 5K, just two seconds away from Berihu Aregawi’s 12:49 world record. Meanwhile, Jakob Ingebrigtsen enters after an explosive 5000m victory in Budapest, where he closed with a 54.39 final lap and a stunning 12.60-second final 100 metres.

The two already faced each other in the 5000m at the European Championships, where Jakob won and Gressier finished fourth. But Copenhagen is different: this is their first road 5K showdown, and Gressier’s road speed could completely change the race.

Addisu Yihune is another major threat after running 12:54 alongside Gressier in Lille. If Gressier pushes the pace from the start, can he make Jakob pay before the final lap? Or will Jakob stay patient and unleash another devastating finishing kick?

Watch the full breakdown of Jakob Ingebrigtsen vs Jimmy Gressier, the 12:51 road 5K, Jakob’s 12.60 final 100m, Addisu Yihune and the Copenhagen 5K World Championship showdown.
