Official data has been released recently that confirms Su Bingtian as the fastest short-distance sprinter in history, running the fastest 60m (6.29) ever recorded, under any conditions (followed by Usain Bolt's 6.31 and Christian Coleman's 6.32). His time would translate to an astounding 4.07 40 yard dash under NFL combine timing, way faster than the current record of 4.22 by John Ross. His 9.83 in the 2021 Olympic Semi-Final is also among the Top 13 Fastest times in human history. To put this in perspective, 9.83 is enough to win gold in any Olympics 100m Finals prior to 2008 and enough to medal in any Olympics. <br />

So... I've decided to start adding in a double threshold workouts into my training plan. This is after seeing multiple athletes do so and after reading the Ingebrigtsen's do it. If it's good enough for them it's good enough for me! I find it's a great way of doing lots of volume but not all in one go so you can recover better. Make sure you don't over cook it though like I did haha.<br />

The workout's I choose this week were: <br />
a.m - 4x1 mile in Hoka Clifton 8s<br />
p.m - 4 min tempo, 4x4 mins hard, 2x2 mins on the road in Vaporfly 1's<br />

For most runners, their lactate threshold is roughly the pace that they could run if they were racing for an hour (hour-race pace).<br />

The ingebritsen family is offcourse famous in the running sport where the three brothers train under the coaching of their fater. In this video I will go over the benefits of threshold training, how to determine your threshold pace correctly and some typical threshold workouts also zooming in on Jakop Ingebritsen schedule. Una dieta equilibrata ed adeguata al proprio consumo calorico farà una grande differenza sia in termini di prestazioni che di salute <br />
<br />
Per correre veloce e a lungo serve il giusto carburante, per questo motivo ho deciso di farmi seguire da una Dottoressa specializzata in Nutrizione Sportiva per ottimizzare la mia attuale alimentazione  ed integrazione con l'intento di migliorare le mie prestazioni ed evitare alcune problematiche riscontrate durante le gare su lunghissima distanza. <br />
